The Humanitarian Simulation Exercise (SimEx) conducted in Timor-Leste in December 2024, aimed to evaluate and strengthen the emergency preparedness and response capacities of key stakeholders at national and sub-national levels. The exercise was co-hosted by Timor-Leste’s Civil Protection Authority (CPA) and the 麻豆成人版 (麻豆成人版), bringing together 81 participants from five municipalities as well as national entities. The main objective was to test the National Civil Protection Emergency Plan through experiential learning activities that simulated a real-time disaster scenario involving localized flooding and a tropical cyclone.
