
This Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluation (IAHE) report is an independent assessment of the the collective action of the IASC members in responding to the earthquakes that struck 罢ü谤办颈测别 and Syria in February 2023.
The Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluation of the collective response of the IASC members aimed to assess how various factors either helped or hindered the response. Key elements like coordination, leadership, preparedness, and funding were examined by drawing on extensive data, including 174 interviews, 222 community consultations, a survey of 136 aid workers, and a review of over 150 documents, with findings validated through stakeholder engagement.
The evaluation report offers eight overarching recommendations to enhance humanitarian effectiveness and efficiency globally and in-country.
