This Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluation (IAHE) report is an independent assessment of the collective famine prevention response of IASC member agencies in Somalia between 2021 and 2024.
The evaluation findings are based on feedback from affected people across twelve districts, insights from over 150 interviews with IASC organizations in the field, government officials, local NGOs, civil society, key donors and development organizations, and an analysis of data from dozens of reports.
The evaluation team offers six overarching recommendations to enhance humanitarian effectiveness and efficiency globally and in-country.
